I was on the Tesco mobile website looking to purchase an iphone 4g of course only to discover its one of these products that is advertised as being available but isnt really there for purchase. And I got mesmerised by a little lifestyle imagery. Ever noticed the over the top Politically correct attempt in advertising to represent ethnic diversity in this country, seems to accidentally paint the native british male out of the picture, take these 4 lifestyle images as taken from a flash rollover of images from the tescos mobile phone site, perhaps attempting to represent british people today or something, and you can see what I mean about not a historically native person amongst the images presented. do you find yourself in the picture ?
Truth is the best solution to this issue for all groups concerned would just be not to use lifestyle imagery at all, ie dont hamfistadely put one black one asian person etc in there, dont even bother to put images of people in at all, it will save winding the native or a particular minority with there lack of representation, or the those minoritys represented by the over the top deliberate representation. I was consuming some pitta bread from “eghoyan’s bakery” and decided to workout whether it was jewish produced ? it sounded jewish but to be honest eghoyan seems a surname or word with difficult to discern origins, although possibly has some armenian origin, hence my perception perhaps as of a jewish origin. Perhaps chosen to subconsciously market to jews living in the Tottenham area where it is made, or perhaps the bakery prior to its current ownership was Jewish ? I’ll give up with my holmes’ian delusions, as the real jewish connection was to come later. I Discovered Andrew Charamboulos was the the director of the eghoyans bakery company.
Diversion :> I might have once visited the Charamboulos monastery in Skiathos on a holiday around the Sporades, “visit” being the operative word, ie I didn’t stay to make my fortune, then get myself elected to the Greek government in an attempt to influence the destiny of the Greek people (that as an english person I would have considered to be a bit forward and gauche, but i doubt Andrew could comprehend such subtletys). The holiday was in and of itself pretty good, though the mediteranean underwater wildlife has been damaged by tourism (slap self on wrist, terminate holiday, catch plane home immediately, shit carbon footprint means i better walk it ?), although my holiday unlike Andrews was a temporary visit to Greece, it was a last and final insane family holiday, burning the little money left of my fathers work life he decided to burn, just as to be sure and set the seal, on the already well understood and evident knowledge that all family holidays were in general, a terrible idea, that tended to go horribly wrong with most people falling out, irritating each other and arguing in restaurants verbally and loudly much to the dismay of other diners. The only real issue apart from family ones, was the other type of people, on this sailing holiday, it seems “Sunsail” is class wise riddled with the kind of familys, whose posh wives employ extremely handsome foreign teenage boys called ludo or some other such incredulous name as male nanny’s, for their horrid children to harrass and harang (some inverse sexist demonstrative dominance power trip, over a beleaguered upper class aging wagewhore husband by a fading wife etc). Luckily my reprobate younger brother made the whole holiday more quirky and eventful, by drunkenly ranting and openly decrying the issues of this aforementioned posh family whilst they were asleep moored two foot away alongside, pretending not to hear us, very decent of them really. Which meant we didn’t feel the need to attend the regatta dinner or partake in any fleet games competitions or activitys thank god. Mainly because my family being the way it is, generally can’t stand other familys and there nauseous social ways. Their endless feigned interest and grinning rubbing up against each other elbow to elbow, at some taverna for the end of day meetup to discuss some class perspective riddled pointless tosh or another.

How I manage to make London politics, sound like some kind of gay mafia i’ve no idea (though the gayffia as I like to call them, is another genuine London powerbase), though the implied subverting of democracy and machinations are a great deal more serious than any godfather movie. I researched his MP website to discover this links page that made me want to throw up. Proof you could never make it in politics in London as an english person who was defensive of english people without the distinct approval of the majority of minority groups at hand(not gonna happen). In other words we cant probably elect an englishman in London without the foreign peoples say so, Tugg forlock thank you me foreign overlords.

So the total population for london and the south east of england (circa 2001) is 15,510,000 living in an area of 23854 km² or 658 people per km² circa 2001 you could probably add another 100 to that estimate now I should imagine at least with illegals included. so circa 2010 you might well be talking 758 people per km²

now if you were to take out of this equation farmed land used in food production which couldnt be converted to alternate uses without damaging food production, and see how many urban dwellers were packed into the remaining areas within south east england you would probably discover statistics in most towns 2/3rd’s of the way toward Londons insane densitys.
so truthfully it is much worse than people really understand in the southeast
to visualise this make a kilometer flat field in your imagination and put 758 people in it and you will notice that that the population is extremely visible upon the landscape. now give each of those people the necessary houses cars and amenitys and you will see that if we want southern england to become more densely populated it is going to become an uglier place to live.
urban density figures which are much more realistic representative figures in relation to most peoples experience are obviously allot higher, as most farmland and villages could be removed from this equation, as the majority of people do not live in such circumstances or can take advantage of such spaces, and as such actually personally experience much higher densitys, than the figures for south east england and london combined would imply.

Also if you did a survey and discovered what size of family people aspire to and what size house they would like to accomodate them in, you would discover if you multiplied that up by the people we are already at the stage where large numbers of people hopes for quality of life are unrealistic and unfullfillable and going to be diminished allot further in the future, and the UK having the smallest dwelling size in europe is proof of this, you really do have to ask the question what quality of life will the grandchildren have ? thats the question.
