to imply by genetics that we are only 1 in a 1000th different from each other, may well be true, but 1/1000 difference represents a large amount of information change considering 1/1000th of 6 billion bits is 60,000 bits of possible difference in human makeup, even a 10th of 60,000 would be allot of possible code change, considering some bits of dna work in conjuction with each other, ie have combinative effect, meaning that possible ramifications of that combinative genetic effect are much larger than 60,000 bits of change, all the possible inheritable diseases are in that 60,000 bits of change.

Basically a binarisation of this argument has led to stupidity, on the one side there our propagandist racists claiming genetics reveals major differences exist between races(false). And the other is the new age geneticist propagandists group stupified by the brilliance of their own discoverys, who tell us we are all clones stemming out of africa, and we only vary by 1 in a 1000 difference. Though the headline statistics are true, they way in which these facts are interpreted and used are often for the purpose of false argument.

Yes we do all come out of africa, but some estimates vary in putting migration out of africa at 74,000 years ago at a minimum. In 74,000 years allot can change (how much change has there been in the last 200 years ?) how much would I feel I had in common with a person from 74,000 years ago ? maybe from a geneticists point of view we are nigh on identical ? but this is being blind in perceiving how much we would culturally have in common, even if we ignored genetic differences at this time, genetic evolution takes millions of years, our destiny is no longer determined by genetic evolution, human evolution as demonstrated in the last 2000 years is achieved through mental evolution, via our own form of human created thinking dna/knowledge memes passed and expanded between each succesive generation, as evidenced by adoption, you can take almost any baby from anywhere in the world and turn them into what would pass for an intellectual in the basic sense, furthering the cause of human endeavour, some will genetically have a slightly better aptitude through genetics and through rearing conditions etc. In fact the number of variables that can effect how people turn out is so vast, as to be almost incalculable. But overall I would say the parents ideology and ethos as concerns intellect and learning, and theyre ability to convey this to the children in combination with opportunitys available to said child, have the biggest impact in making the cultural differences seen in most people.

Genetics is a contributor there are real genetic differences between peoples that affect them in their lives, whether native ability or hinderence, most of these can be overcome with the right opportunitys, education rearing etc. But for genetecists to state with the 1/1000th statistic and imply that people are identical, is equally a poor false headline catching, multicuralist american exported, form of integrationist propoganda, though not as bad a propoganda, as the racist’s would like to assert that implys theyre are major genetic differences between the races. The first viewpoint is simplified science for the public and the second is radicalised ignorance.

Truth is the real feelings that make people in general want to resort to racism relate to a clash of cultural and ideological differences, differences that can be more real from a human interactional perspective than any genetic ones ever could.

America a country, that from the now present populations perspective, can only be considered to be founded on immigration in general, therefore it has to assert the concept that all people are equal within its bounds, so it can have social harmony, as genuinely none of the immigrants there can really assert more right to be there than any other, except on the basic premise of how long ago there ancestors got of the boat and finished murdering and stealing from the natives, or presuming lands unoccupied. The problem with america is that it has exported this propoganda around the world to destabilise other countrys cultural identitys mainly within europe the UK included, through the promotion of immigration and integration as the only right/moral path for humanity to take ?

Negating the concept of cultural biodiversity, Its a strange thing that on the one hand we promote the concept of multi-cultural embracement, where most often multiculturalism, often thrives by diluting the native culture down, which ironically damages cultural diversity in this process, having different cultures takes and slant on things can be very usefull, we want people thinking and acting differently, as this has advantages culturally ? protecting ‘native minoritys/majoritys culture’ is as important, if not more so than protecting an ‘immigrant minoritys culture’, because where the immigration comes from the culture will be retained, as long as the ‘outflow of that cultures beliefs’ is lower than the ‘in flow of other cultural beliefs’. No culture is static and nor would you wish it to be so, but you do not want to assert that all cultural beliefs are of the same value, otherwise your dilute there evolutional value as a whole, by prejudicing against that possible diversity, with no cultural beliefs, it is important to play them off against each other and reward those that prove beneficial. just as evolution does over millions of years with genetic code. We also have the advantage that with cultural ideas & beliefs and codes, we can attribute value to qualitys, which genetic evolution alone, would fail to recognise or do so too slowly for them to survive.

Sadly the culture we are developing today because of its failure to recognise this cultural value in maintaining this diversity through over-immigration of native cultures, will eventually wipe out some very good qualitys. To me it seems that history has quite a few examples of some very civilised or intellectual peoples wiped out by more aggressive cultures, this was not always in humanitys benefit. and the culture we seem to mainly globally espouse today, seems heavily related to selfishness, reproduction, over indulgent consumerism and entertainment, and the fundamental lack of use of the average persons possible potential in the work we offer the human race in general, we need to finds ways to evolve out of this rut, because presently it is all sustained by an imbalanced resource extraction from a limited earth, this immature heady part of human history is coming to an end, now we must face the bigger picture of what it is, that is our purpose,

And as for ignoring the concept of genetic difference between peoples, it may in the end, lose us massive benefits in human evolution by not looking at the advantageous genetic differences of various population groups around the world ? In other words we might be throwing away a source of beneficial genetic knowledge related to the biodiversity of the human genome, with as great a value to humanity as a whole, as the unknown benefical drugs contained within an extincted jungle.

As per usual to much agenda on both sides, and not enough balance and reason and accurate scientific pronouncments, most scientific announcements seem today to have agenda’s, or be swimming within a cause celebre of the political times in which theyre made, or just too overtly attention seeking in their nature.
