im begiining to think im using windows nowadays with the way that the leopard desktop builds itself in front of you 2 mins before it is actually ready to be used, I think all desktops should build themselves offscreen and then when they appear they are ready to use.

It looks like Apple may have read my mind, the upcoming release of Mac os X called Snow Leopard seems to be all about speed improvements, hopefully this will be the release in which all of the tiny little niggles and bugs will be resolved, so the operating system feels smoother and slicker.
