Why is it council’s, big themselves up, shmuck marketing stylee, saying its a low rate rise this year ?! what would be clever would be an efficiency saving whereby council tax was reduced ? but thats too far out, for there pathetic little annual endlessly budget expansionist profligate imaginations to reach for, sack half the local bureaucracy thats what I say. They get great salarys and pensions for dull and stupid jobs, that would be better done by machine.

Wierdly what happens band wise is its based on peoperty values as snapshotted in 1991 ? lets hope that wasnt an artificial boom year property wise. basing it on the value of a property does makes sense, but the average house should not in my opinion cost over a thousand pounds per annum in council tax.
